Raleigh 410
Another rummage sale junker, of course, and mine is the brown color. It's a 10-speed and what I like about it is that the shifters are up on the fork where you can get at them. It's a good enough little cruiser but it's not a big climber, so it is real good for going around the lakes in Madison, which is where I inaugerated it today. We went around Lake Monona in 60-minutes. I put a new seat on it, wide and soft, from Dick's Sport Shop, a relatively cheap one, but it helps. Needs just a little tweaking on the angle yet. Had a good ride.

Fuji S-12-S
This is a grungy rummage sale bike and is probably my best all-around. It is one that can climb what I call the "long hill" in Coles Valley near Norwalk, which is what I did with it to initiate my endeavor to outlive as many liberals as I can in order to be able to aptly chronicle the achievements of the more prominent ones in my blog of Spencerian Death Sonnets, lest the liberal media be left on their own to make cult heroes and patriots of them.
I have several options once I climb the big hill, and I took the shortest one for this ride. I call it the AA route because it takes the closest option of returning to the valley floor, only to climb a bigger hill just before coasting down again to the finish. I walk up that hill, although I have ridden one bike up it, tacking, just to prove I can do it.
I made the Fuji's coming out party in 71-minutes at a moderate pace, not killing myself. It's a good workout.
